500 SF Thermal Testing Chamber
As a subcontractor to Sierra Lobo, Inc., our team led the fabrication and assembly of a specialized thermal testing chamber supporting the Air Force Research Laboratory’s Structural Validation Branch at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. Designed for advanced aerospace research, the chamber provides a flexible testing environment capable of accommodating structural and thermal testing under extreme operating conditions.
The project included construction of a 500 SF thermal testing chamber featuring two independent test cells, removable roof sections, and a reconfigurable layout that allows larger test articles to be accommodated. Additional work included integration of electrical, instrumentation, cooling water, and nitrogen purge systems, enabling testing at temperatures exceeding 4,000°F while supporting specialized aerospace research and validation programs.
