The Cleveland Hopkins Gold Lot Parking Facility is a design-build project that will transform a former Air Operations Area (AOA) into a new 1,500-vehicle surface parking facility at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport. Developed for the City of Cleveland Department of Port Control, the project will expand parking capacity while supporting the airport’s long-term operational and revenue goals.
Delivered by Shook Construction and Passero Associates, the project includes the installation of a new secure AOA perimeter fence, site infrastructure, lighting, and circulation improvements. The Gold Lot will provide travelers with convenient access to the terminal.
Passenger-focused enhancements include a covered pedestrian walkway connecting the lot to the airport head-house and new shuttle bus shelters for travelers utilizing airport transportation services. Upon completion, the facility will improve the passenger experience while supporting future growth at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport.
