SAFELY – The only way to work.
Earlier this May, Shook held a Stand Down For Safety at various job sites across our Dayton region. A presentation was provided by FallTech, who brought a “drop cart” to show our employees the effects of a fall with a 240 lb. dummy. Employees were educated on the proper donning of a harness, inspections of fall protection components, how to calculate fall clearances, how to engage and use trauma relief straps, the importance of a rescue plan in the case of a fall, and more.
Many thanks to our employees for their enthusiasm to learn and prioritize our most important value – that everyone returns home safely each day.
