Milestone at Tipp City Schools PK-8 School Project

Tipp City Schools

Concrete installation has begun at Tipp City Schools’ new PK-8 School, marking a major milestone for the project! After months of planning and site preparation, construction is in full swing.

Shook is serving as the construction manager for the 218,944-square-foot PK-8 school, which will serve nearly 1,800 students.

Teams recently poured 160 yards of foundational concrete in a section of the school that includes the cafeteria kitchen, mechanical room, and locker rooms. The next phase will include a foundational concrete pour in the three-story academic wing.

In addition, teams have completed:

  • Concrete footers across the building
  • The elevator shaft in the academic wing
  • 75% of masonry foundation walls

Crews continue to make progress on underground electrical, and plumbing work and are constructing two staircases.

Stay tuned for updates as Tipp City Schools embarks on a transformative facilities construction program. Shook will also manage a comprehensive renovation to Tippecanoe High School, with work taking place during the summers of 2026 and 2027.

Thank you to our design partner, Garmann Miller, and other industry partners as we work to deliver 21st-century learning environments for the district.
