100 Acts of Service: Acts 1-4

100 Acts of Service

We’re thrilled to kick off 100 Acts of Service for 100 Years of Service! To commemorate our 100-Year Anniversary, Shook teams will complete 100 acts of service throughout 2026 as our way of giving back to the communities that have supported us.

In January, our teams jumped right into our 100 Acts by taking part in several community projects:

  • Midwest teammates from the Mansfield Water Treatment Plant project installed a handrail on the entrance ramp at The Shelter in Mansfield, Ohio, an organization dedicated to supporting individuals affected by domestic violence.
  • Great Lakes team members traveled to Chicago to work with the Foxes Have Dens organization to hand out warm clothes, hygiene products, and other essentials to individuals in need.
  • Mid-Atlantic teammates participated in United Way's Martin Luther King Jr. Day volunteer event in Raleigh, North Carolina. The group supported local teenagers with literacy efforts and notes of affirmation, and created no-sew blankets and hygiene kits.
  • Midwest team members joined the MLK Day of Service at Bowling Green State University in Ohio, where they made appreciation cards and care packages for Angels in Arms, which supports veterans and first responders.

We can’t wait to see what our teammates do next to continue living our Mission, To Dramatically Improve the Communities We Serve.
