Shook team members joined West Carrollton Schools officials, the Ohio Facilities Construction Commission, and other dignitaries to celebrate the ribbon cutting of the district’s new elementary school that will serve grades 2-4.
The 97,000-square-foot West Carrollton Elementary School is a modern education environment equipped for 21st-century learning. The district successfully preserved the entrance of one of its former schools, C.F. Holliday, repurposing it as a reading nook in the Media Center. The project also included the addition of a new playground area and a new gym, which also serves as a certified storm shelter.
The elementary school is part of a transformative, $100 million investment in education in West Carrollton. Shook continues construction on a new Middle School/High School building for grades 7-12, on track to be completed for the 2026-2027 school year.
Shout out to our design partner, Levin Porter Architects, and trusted trade partners for their efforts on this important project. We’re proud to provide modern, inspiring learning environments for West Carrollton students!
