This past Monday, Shook teammates hosted a field trip for young men from Victory Project, touring them around the Dayton Public Schools Welcome Stadium job site. Shook has spent the last several months doing an in-class curriculum teaching young men about the different types of jobs in the construction industry. After the tour of the job site, Shook sat down with them and answered more in-depth questions they had about careers in construction. Victory Project is an after-school program mentoring disengaged young men (6th-12th grade) in Dayton, OH.
