Shook Receives 2026 Carolinas AGC Community Impact Award

Shook is honored to be a recipient of the Carolinas AGC Community Impact Award! These awards honor companies that are making significant contributions to their communities through their time, actions, talents, dedication, and resources throughout the Carolinas.

This achievement is made possible by our selfless teammates who have spent countless hours living our Mission, "To Dramatically Improve the Communities We Serve." Notably, their efforts in this past year included:

• Siler City Wastewater Treatment Plant: The team continued its partnership with Chatham Habitat for Humanity to improve housing accessibility. Teammates donated 67 working hours over two sessions to help build a wheelchair-accessible deck for a family in need, as well as other projects.
   
• Wilkesboro Wastewater Treatment Plant: The team collected toys and raised $1,400 for the Wilkesboro Christmas for Kids Toy Drive and a food drive sponsored by the Wilkesboro Police Department
   
• Neuse River RRF Sidestream Treatment: Team member participated in a Student Hands-On Experience Day (S.H.E.D.) event, mentoring high school students and sharing insights into construction and engineering career paths.
