Shook's Matt Bennett serves on the Board of Directors for Drink Local Drink Tap, a non-profit organization focused on solving water equity and quality issues. The group builds and monitors sustainable water, hygiene and sanitation systems in rural Uganda.
Learning of their need to replace six laptops in Uganda, costing nearly the same price as providing the school with a borehole well for clean water, Matt worked with our IT department to provide the group with repurposed Shook laptops. We are thrilled to learn that the laptops made it to Uganda recently and the team is set up to work with their U.S. counterparts!
