On Thursday, April 24, 2025, we celebrated the ribbon cutting of Kent City School District's new Engineering and Advanced Technologies Center. It was a beautiful day to memorialize this state-of-the-art facility with the District, State of Ohio Governor Mike DeWine, the Six District Educational Compact, and members of the local business community.
The 3,800 square-foot facility includes classroom and collaboration space to support three high-demand CTE programs:
Students across all member districts of the Six District Educational Compact—Cuyahoga Falls, Hudson, Kent, Stow-Monroe Falls, Tallmadge, and Woodridge—will have access to these innovative programs to gain the skills needed to enter the workforce. We look forward to the endless opportunities this expansion will bring for the students of today and tomorrow!
