This $44.5M Shook-AECOM JV project added membrane softening to Greene County's largest Water Treatment Plant for the removal of magnesium and calcium. Additionally, three new gravity sand filters were added to increase the capacity of the plant from 10.5 MGD to 12 MGD. The new 20,000 SF building houses reverse osmosis membrane softening equipment, membrane and backwash feed pumps, an operations control room, and more.
