We are excited to announce the completion of the Neuse River RRF Sidestream Treatment project for the City of Raleigh, North Carolina! Shook delivered this Bid Package in collaboration with Crowder as the CM at Risk. The facilities were necessary to provide sidestream deammonification treatment as part of the overall Bioenergy Recovery Project.
Project features included:
🏗️ Construction of a new 130' X 60' cast-in-place concrete treatment basin with equalization tanks, which houses the diffused aeration equipment, screening equipment, sludge collection equipment, and vertical shaft mixers.
🏗️ A new service building to house the RAS pumps, blowers, and electrical gear.
🏗️ Installation of a filtrate pump station.
🏗️ A new 25’ diameter IFAS clarifier.
🏗️ Site improvements, exposed and underground process piping, and electrical/SCADA upgrades.
We are proud to be a part of updating the region's infrastructure to support its continued growth!
