Bedford Heights Phase 1 Groundbreaking

We are excited to share that we broke ground on the City of Bedford Heights' Wastewater Treatment Plant Phase 1 Improvements project!

Shook is the Construction Manager at Risk on this $51M project. Key updates include a new headworks/influent pump station facility, increasing influent capacity to 28 MGD, a new 2.25 million-gallon equalization basin, new grit removal and handling systems, rehabilitation of existing aeration tanks, primary clarifiers and secondary clarifiers, new RAS and WAS pumps, upgrades to plant-wide electrical and I&C systems, and critical structural repairs. Work is underway and is anticipated to be completed in 2027.
