February 17, 2026 Mission
In 2025, Shook Construction selected Hope for Home — a nonprofit organization founded in Troy, Ohio — as the partner for our 2026 Mission Trip. In early March, Shook will send 10 team members to Hope for Home’s campus in Parramos, Guatemala, where they'll help construct new therapy and living spaces designed to serve up to 15 children with disabilities.
Shook’s Mission Trip group consists of team members from all four of our regional offices — Dayton, Cleveland, Raleigh, and Indianapolis — as well as various positions across the company.
On Feb. 9, the group gathered at Shook’s Equipment Center in Dayton, Ohio, for a hands-on training day, practicing masonry skills to prepare for the trip. The excitement was palpable as our team brushed up on the practical skills needed to accomplish the work and looked forward to making a difference.
Thank you to our industry partner, Gostomsky Masonry, for generously donating the concrete blocks that helped make this training possible and strengthened our ability to serve.
In addition to helping build the new facility, many Shook team members are lending support to Hope for Home children and families through a companywide donation drive. All collected supplies will travel with the team when they depart for Guatemala in a few short weeks.
