YOUR ROLE AT SHOOK CONSTRUCTION
Under the direct supervision of the Director of Safety, this position provides administrative and clerical duties for Regional Safety Managers, Regional Safety Coordinators as well as the Director. In addition to typing, filing, and scheduling, performs such duties as record keeping, coordination of meetings, managing third party safety verification services, obtaining supplies, and working on special projects as requested.

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Occasionally must stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, and climb and balance. Must be able to talk, hear, taste and smell and use hands to finger, handle and feel. Seldom may have to stoop, crouch or crawl. May need to occasionally lift up to 10 lbs. The following are the vision requirements for the job: physical, close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.
