Shook-RJE is a Mentor-Protege Joint Venture that pairs an 83 year old construction services company with an emerging minority contractor possessing more than 20 years in the industry. RJE possesses EDGE, 8(a) and Veteran Owned certifications as well as pending HUBzone and Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business status. Our Joint Venture targets opportunities in the healthcare, technology, water resource and industrial markets that will enable us to expand the resume and capacity of RJE and its' personnel. The Shook-RJE Joint Venture is proud to announce our recent selection as Construction Manager for phase II of Citywide Development Corporation's Tech Town complex in Dayton, OH. The project consists of a 60,000SF multi-story technology incubator that will be built in accordance with LEED Silver Certification. The facility will be utilized by emerging technology companies to develop and refine their product before taking it to market and should serve as an economic development tool for the region. Shook-RJE is especially excited to begin working on this $9MM opportunity because it will be the first project for the Shook-RJE joint venture.
