Skanska Shook Approaches 10 Years of Collaboration
The Skanska Shook Joint Venture came together in 2000 to jointly pursue Healthcare and Technology work with targeted clients. Our Technology Channel, which has largely consisted of projects in data centers and telecommunication buildings, recently exceeded $750MM in total volume. Both companies are consistently ranked in the Top 15 Nationally for this type of construction as reported by Engineering News and Record. Within our Healthcare Channel, recent successes have included a 500,000SF Replacement Hospital that was completed in 2007 and a $150MM new Heart Tower in which Skanska Shook is currently acting as the Construction Manager.
Our clients attribute our success to our ability to function as a seamless entity while providing a blend of local relationships and national resources. As Skanska Shook approaches this landmark we look forward to continued success, for another ten years and beyond.
