Two Shook Offices Win Safety Awards

Shook's Indianapolis and Cleveland offices were recently recognized for their commitment to safety by associations in their respective regions.

At the 17th Annual Metropolitan Indianapolis Construction Coalition for Safety Awards Banquet, Shook LLC received the 2009 Injury Free Award. Shook LLC's workforce performed nearly 100,000 man hours in 2009 and completed all work without any injuries. Shook LLC was also one of four finalists in the “Under 300,000 Man-Hour” category for the Crystal Eagle Award. The event was attended by more than 750 people representing Contractors and Owners from the Indianapolis area.

Similarly, Shook's Northern Division was recently recognized by the Construction Employer's Association with their Contractor's Safety Award at the organization's Annual Safety Luncheon. The Northern Division worked nearly 110,000 man hours in 2009 and had an outstanding safety record for the year.
