Parma Water Reservoir
The Parma Water Reservoir project was the renovation of a 70 year old facility. The original plant had been built on the brink of World War II, and the plans called for the roof of the building to be covered with two feet of earth so that it could not be targeted by foreign bombers. The restoration called for the roof to be cleared of the dirt surface and for a new roofing system to be installed. Additionally the entire facility was to undergo rehabilitation, both on the interior and the exterior. On the interior, a new access point was created, and all concrete joints were rehabbed. Additionally, a new liner system was put up inside the liquid membrane. The exterior work included the new roofing system in addition to masonry restoration. Return to Environmental Projects
