Ohio Statehouse Restoration


Shook was awarded the general trades contract for the Statehouse restoration. This $26-million contract included: selective demolition; two new underground entrances from the parking garage; masonry and stone restoration; structural and ornamental steel; woodwork restoration; a new copper roof; skylights; plaster restoration; painting; and elevators. Shook won a Build Ohio award in the restoration category for improvements for this project.
