Millennium Pump Station
The Millennium Pump Station is a new $3.7MM sanitary pump station for Neshannock Township in New Castle, PA. The project is located next to the Shenango River, which necessitated the installation of a sheetpile cofferdam with an integral dewatering system. This was needed to allow for the 35FT deep excavation that had to take place for the construction of a concrete wet well and pump room. The foundation extends up to grade to support the masonry building which houses the site's electrical and controls equipment. The project includes the installation of 3ea 12" 80hp dry pit sumbersible pumps with associated suction and discharge piping. Yard piping includes tie-ins to existing sanitary sewers as well as installation of 20" discharge forcemain piping.
