Miami Valley Hospital SE Addition

The Joint Venture team of Skanska Shook is acting as the Construction Manager of the new $135 million patient tower for Premier Health Partner's Miami Valley Hospital. The 180 bed hospital will cover 12 floors, totalling approximately 480,000 SF. In addition to the patient rooms, the building will house three Operating Rooms and five Cath labs. A 40-car parking garage will be incorporated into the building's base. The new structure will also pursue a LEED certification, although the particular rating is still under review. The team's contract also performed extensive preconstruction services as well as enabling projects to prepare the site for construction.
