Atrium Medical Center
Shook was Construction Manager on this new $122-million, 750,000 SF medical campus for Premier Health Partners. With all private rooms and state of the art amenities, the focus of the 250 bed hospital was on patient comfort. The five floor structure was built with the ability to be expanded to seven floors in all, which would increase the hospital's capacity by 200 beds. It also has the ability to be expanded horizontally in several directions. The patient volume of the hospital is expected to reach as much as 370,000 patients annually in the next five years, which would mark a 33% increase from the hospital's 2004 volume. Shook is also building an Oncology Center, a Behavioral Health Pavilion and an Ambulatory Surgery Center on the campus. To see a map of the campus click here |
