Shook Continues Work with the March Of Dimes

On April 26, 2008, Shook employees, friends & family put on their walking shoes and participated in the March of Dimes March for Babies (formerly WalkAmerica) in Dayton, Ohio. The March of Dimes champions the needs of moms and babies by working for the research, services, education and advocacy that helps babies get a healthy start. There were over 2,000 people that participated in the 3.5 mile March, raising money and awareness for babies that need help to survive at birth.

Shook has repeatedly participated as both an associate event sponsor and a team sponsor. In addition to assisting in organizaing the March, Team Shook was able to raise almost $7,000 through in-kind donations, corporate donations, and candy and raffle ticket sales.
