Shook Kicks-off Mission Critical Project

Shook's Mission Critical Group was recently awarded a major telecommunications building expansion by Verizon Wireless in Cleveland, Ohio. The highly complex project involves the new construction of an 8,100SF, two-story building addition to an existing telecomm building while protecting the facility's live dial tone for the duration of the project. The first floor of the addition houses new DC and AC power rooms while the second floor of the addition houses a new mechanical room with HVAC units. The existing equipment rooms will then be converted to expanded switch space.

Shook has performed hundreds of millions of dollars in mission critical work over the last several years and is consistently ranked as one of the top telecommunication contractors in the nation according to Engineering News and Record.
