Dayton Public Schools Project
In October of 2007, Shook Touchstone was awarded the Construction Management project for the Dayton Public Schools phase II and phase III projects. Shook Touchstone is managing eight projects for phase II, while Phase III will consist of eleven additional schools. The phase II schools will be wrapping up by mid to late summer 2008, with the phase III schools beginning sporadically around the same time. We were eager to get involved in the Dayton Public Schools project because of its significance to the greater Dayton Community. We saw the DPS project as an optimal platform for our Building Blocks program. Our construction professionals have been working hard to garner significant local involvement from the contractor community in the Dayton area.
