Dayton High School Gets Much Needed Tennis Courts Shook Construction has been working with Chaminade Julienne Catholic High School (CJ) for 18 months, helping them develop their master plan and budget. One line item in that master plan was the construction of new tennis courts.Previously, the school team had been forced to use offsite tennis courts at Art Van Anna Park, which required student transportation to and from the park. To alleviate this inconvenience, an old staff/visitor parking lot was renovated to include six (6) new tennis courts and a spectator section for not only the tennis team, but also for all students and alumni. In time for the fall tennis season, At the grand opening, past and present players came together to “serve” the first ball together.
In large part because of the success of this project along with our commitment to client satisfaction by being responsive to their expectations and providing the highest quality possible, we have since been awarded a conceptual design proposal for the renovation of two of their buildings. We are thrilled to be continuing our working relationship with CJ and look forward to the years and projects ahead!
