Here are a few team members we're always looking for: Project Managers - Shook's Project Managers are responsible for the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome of our projects. Each PM works with other key project personnel to establish operational priorities and to maintain positive and effective relationships with external members of the project team (owners, architects & subcontractors). Project Management positions begin at the Project Engineer level for those just entering the field and progress to the Project Executive level. A bachelor's degree in a related field is required for PM positions. Superintendents - Our Superintendents have the very important duty of running our projects safely, efficiently and accurately, while keeping the architects vision intact and making sure our clients are happy on a daily basis. They are ultimately responsible for making sure our projects are built on time and on budget. We are looking for experienced Superintendents with anywhere from five to twenty-five years of experience. Co-Op Students - Shook Construction is looking for students with a passion for building, to come and learn the commercial construction industry from the ground up. Each semester we hire a select group of students for paid Co-Op positions. We expose our students to real world situations out in the field and in the office. Some of the experience you'll gain includes processing submittals and take-offs, preparing bid documents and change orders, logging shop drawings and attending job site meetings.
